{"id":36,"date":"2019-03-08T04:45:07","date_gmt":"2019-03-07T23:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.maiapelicangrove.com\/maianew\/Maia\/blog\/?p=36"},"modified":"2024-01-19T10:45:16","modified_gmt":"2024-01-19T05:15:16","slug":"maia-estates-mops-up-%e2%82%b9100cr-from-the-manipal-group","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.maiaestates.in\/in-the-news\/project\/maia-estates-mops-up-%e2%82%b9100cr-from-the-manipal-group\/","title":{"rendered":"The Economic Times: MAIA mops up Rs.100 crores from the Manipal group"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>Bengaluru:<\/strong>&nbsp;Former chief financial officer of Infosys NSE 3.96 % TV Mohandas Pai, Manipal Education and Medical Group CEO Ranjan Pai and the group\u2019s corporate affairs adviser Abhay Jain have jointly committed ?100 crore to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maiaestates.in\/\"> Maia Estates<\/a>, a new real estate development firm based in Bengaluru.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The company plans to use the capital to launch three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maiaestates.in\/ultra-luxury-high-end-apartments-in-bangalore.php\"><strong>residential projects in Bengaluru<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cWe have so far drawn only 15% of the total commitment. The rest will be drawn as the projects progress,\u201d said Maia Estates CEO Mayank Ruia.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cThe total investment in two projects alone will be Rs 700 crore, with an equity requirement of Rs 350 crore,\u201d said Ruia.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Maia Estates has received project-level funding from all the three investors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cIt is an equity structured deal.
